Sports Betting Rules

Almost all online sportsbooks reserve the right to limit or refuse any wager prior to its acceptance.

Most sportsbooks minimum phone wagers are $50 and minimum internet wagers are either $5 or $10. The maximum wager is the balance in your account or the amount presented or your respective sportsbooks rules page.

All sporting events must be played on date and site scheduled unless otherwise specified. If any event is postponed or rescheduled, the sporting event will automatically constitute "no action" and your wagered amount will be refunded to your betting account.

Winners and losers are official after:

Football (NFL and College) 55 min. of play.

Basketball (NBA) 43 min. of play.

Basketball (College) 35 min. of play

Hockey (NHL) 55 min. of play

Baseball (home team winning) 4 1/2 innings.

Baseball (visitor winning) 5 innings of play

Baseball (total runs wagers home winning) 8 1/2 innings

Baseball (total runs wagers visitors winning) 9 innings.

Note: After 9 innings of play, if the game is called or suspended the score is determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score when the game is called. The listed pitchers must start or there is "no action".

All event and game winners are determined on the date of the event’s conclusion according to house rules and conditions. Sportsbooks do not recognize suspended games, protest and overturned decisions for wagering purposes. Exceptions are made for Baseball.

When wagering on totals, overtime periods are counted as the final score.

On half-time wagers, overtime periods are included as part of the 2nd half.

The home team is always listed as the bottom team unless otherwise specified.

Most sportsbooks phone bets calls are digitally recorded. These recordings are used to settle all wagering disputes.

All internet transactions are saved on a tape back up system.
